The East Coast Flyway of the USA
This show covers both the Spring and Autumn bird migrations in the Delaware Bay / New Jersey area of the Eastern United States. The first half of the show (Spring), shows the amazing Horseshoe crab spawning and the wading birds and Gulls that feast on the resulting eggs. The Autumn half of the show covers mainly wildfowl, especially Snow and Brent Geese. This show is full of very strong images and is hugely popular amongst both Natural History groups and Photographic Societies alike.
Rain and Cloud Forests of Peru
This show opens with an amazing visit to a Parrot and Macaw lick on the banks of the Manu river and ends with a visit to the most spectacular bird in South America - the Cock of the Rock. In between there are many examples of the bird and insect life of this remarkable environment as well as the forest itself. Also included is a visit to Matchu Pichu and a nighttime encounter with the elusive Tapir.
Landscapes & Birds of the American SouthWest
This is a show that is a little different from many 'wildlife' presentations as the scenery takes equal billing with the birds and animals. The following National Parks are included: Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef and Arches. These contain some of the most spectacular landscapes on Earth and each one is totally different! Also visited are the huge stands of Saguaro cacti near Tucson and the striking beauty of White Sands National Monument. Birds include the Roadrunner and the gathering of Cranes and Snow Geese at the famous Bosque del Apache refuge.
Namibia
Namibia is probably the most scenic country in Africa and this show includes examples of the harsh beauty of the predominently desert environment. Most of the wildlife was photographed in the World famous Etosha national park, where large numbers of game animals gather at the dwindling water holes as the dry season takes a grip on the land. In this show, the mammals take pride of place, with Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant, Giraffe and many species of Antelope represented, although there are a fair sprinkling of birds.
Hawaii & Midway
This 2 part show starts with the contrasts of the Hawaii islands from raw lava beds to the lush forests and includes some of th rarely photographed Hawaai endemics including the spectacular Iiwi and Apapani both. The second half of the show is a visit to the truly remote Midway Islands a dot in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. 3 species of Albatross are the main feature, including the very rare Short Tailed Albatross. Red Tailed Tropic birds, Fairy Terns and others. For once the 'bird photographers paradise' tag is justified.
.Galapagos
To anyone interested in natural history, the Galapagos islands will always be of special significance as they will always be linked in one's mind to the voyage of the Beagle and the conclusion of it's naturalist Charles Darwin. Full of very confiding wildlife this is another photographic hotspot and the show reflects this. Many species of Seabird are covered as well as the endemic Darwin's Finches and of course the Iguanas and the amazingly coloured Sally Lighfoot Crabs.
